International Game Technology (IGT) has reaffirmed its partnership with Pan Malaysian Pools (PMP) through a 10-year contract renewal, facilitated by its subsidiaries, IGT Global Services Limited and IGT Global Solutions Corporation. This extension heralds the introduction of cutting-edge technology aimed at revitalizing the Malaysian lottery system.
Under this agreement, IGT will implement its flagship central lottery system, Aurora, to enhance the operational efficiency of PMP. Aurora, part of the comprehensive Omnia omnichannel solution, will seamlessly integrate with PMP’s existing dmcGO iLottery system.
Tan Kong Han, Managing Director of PMP, commented on the collaboration: “For over a decade, IGT has been instrumental in PMP’s growth by introducing dynamic, responsible lottery solutions. The integration of IGT’s sophisticated Aurora system and its advanced functionalities with our dmcGO platform promises to enrich the lottery experience for our customers in the coming years.”
With Aurora, PMP gains access to a suite of sophisticated tools, including an administration portal, application management hub, and Terminal Access Gateway, enhancing its operational capabilities.
Jay Gendron, IGT’s COO of Global Lottery, reflected on the renewed partnership: “This extension is a significant milestone for PMP and IGT, marking the continuation of our collaborative efforts to modernize Malaysia’s lottery landscape. Aurora’s world-class system and unique features will not only bolster PMP’s business growth but also support The Community Chest. This charitable trust, funded by PMP, is dedicated to providing financial aid to educational institutions across Malaysia.”
